About Position Strategy Group

Position Strategy Group, LLC is an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) firm based in New York. We help companies get cited and recommended when people ask ChatGPT, Google AI and Microsoft Copilot who to choose.

The firm was founded by Josh Popkin.

What do we do?

Our work has three parts.

• Data. We track how a company appears across AI search: how often it shows up, where it ranks, which sources get cited and what the answers say.
• Strategy. We pick the questions buyers actually ask, check who wins them today and write the plan to take them.
• Execution. We strengthen the evidence on the company's website and across the wider web, then measure what changes in the answer.
